Valerian Tea

It is a plant native to Europe and West Asia, which can be grown in any region and in any climate. It usually grows to a height of 60 cm and produces small bunches of flowers, very fragrant and with a sweet aroma, in white, pink or purple.
The part used for medicinal purposes is the roots which are tender and have a very small odor. The scientific name of the plant is Valeriana officinalis.
Valerian root has many properties that are beneficial to the human body, but should be consumed with caution.
